Bavdhan lies on Pune's western edge between Kothrud and Pashan, where the Mumbai–Bengaluru highway meets the city at Chandani Chowk. Surrounded by hills, it feels greener and quieter than most of West Pune, while staying close to Kothrud's schools and shops.
Housing ranges from older societies to newer gated projects on the hill slopes. The rebuilt Chandani Chowk interchange, opened in 2023, made the drive to Hinjewadi, Baner and the Mumbai expressway much easier, which has added to Bavdhan's appeal.
Roads
Next to the Chandani Chowk interchange on the Mumbai–Bengaluru highway (NH 48), with Paud Road towards Kothrud and the highway north to Baner, Wakad and Hinjewadi.
Metro
No station yet. Vanaz, the western end of the Aqua Line (Line 2), is the nearest. An extension from Vanaz to Chandani Chowk is planned; check its status if the metro matters to you.
